Alex took these photos at sunset in the White Rann when we were in Gujarat. How spectacular for the salt plains look bathed in the golden light?! It really was a special place to be.

Beautiful photographs.I really love this outfit, the scarf, the trousers, the sandals, they all look perfect together.
ReplyDeletelove those trousers. of course :) and your photos are wonderful - my husband and i were suppose to visit india last november for my birthday, but things sort of fell apart with his position in his company and we had to move, etc., etc., and i have to admit i wasn't super-excited about it initially, but after reading your blog i'm DYING to visit!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah, I thought you might like them ;) Aw, such a shame that you didn’t make it to India, it’s an amazing place; frustrating at times and often difficult to understand but so unbelievably beautiful at the same time. There’s nowhere else like it and it will always carry a special place in my heart. If you get the chance again, you must visit!
ReplyDeleteWow, what an incredible back drop! These snaps remind me slightly of the Bolivian salt flats. :) This is such a simple but beautiful look, I really like the splash of leopard and that yummy bag!

Love the look niki and the back drop is spellbinding x
ReplyDeleteThose trousers are perfect! I love this whole outfit, it looks like it's super comfy & yet looks really stylish too. Love your hair here as well! The backdrop is so beautiful, India is one of those places that's so high on my list of places to visit, it seems like such an interesting place & so much beauty.
ReplyDeleteI've never been a real fan of harem pants but seeing them on you has be rethinking them.
ReplyDeleteI could cry, I'm so jealous that you are standing on a beach right now. Love the outfit, you look so put together yet cozy at the same time.

I know what you mean, I never thought I’d wear a pair and
ReplyDeletedidn’t like them too much either, but it’s difficult not to be slightly influenced
by your surroundings and they are SO practical for India so I tried a pair and now love! I wear them tons, they feel right for here but I’m not sure how much I’ll wear them back in the UK.
Thanks…and that’s my ‘need to wash it but don’t have hot
ReplyDeletewater’ hair! India really is interesting and SO beautiful, there’s a lot of
things I’d rather not see here too, but that’s India. I love it and hate it here in equal measure.
Thanks Jane, it really was. Would love to go back one day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tara J
ReplyDeleteleopard print needs to be in every outfit, right?! I’ve never seen the Bolivian
salt flats, they sound like somewhere to add to my list of places to visit!
Thanks :) Yeah it was gorgeous! Really not missing home right now with the horrid weather!!
ReplyDeleteI've said it once and I'll say it again - I flippin' love those trousers! I think the term that sums this up the best is 'effortlessly chic' x
ReplyDeleteHehe! Thanks again! xx
