We celebrated our third Style Social event last Wednesday. Our first event was back in September of last year and it was a pretty inspiring event! For those of you who are new to Style Studs and Lace and aren’t from Pittsburgh, Style Social is a Pittsburgh Fashion Blogger event organized by myself and three other awesome local fashion bloggers – Kim, Ashley and Tori.

The three of us knew that Pittsburgh had a burgeoning fashion and style scene and we wanted to create an event that would tempt our fellow bloggers out from behind their computer screens to mingle and network in person. Our aim was (and still is!) to build a nurturing, supportive and collaborative environment for local bloggers to thrive in, and the fantastic response we’ve had has encouraged us to continue - with each event getting a little bigger and better as we develop and grow them!
Each of our events has a theme and is held at a different location. Last weeks event was hosted at Emy Mack Collective and with it being held so close to Valentine’s Day we couldn’t resist doing a romantic theme. We had red roses, fun love themed décor and photo props, and naughty sweet treats.

Sephora joined us again and were on hand to help us find our perfect shade of red, and show us how to apply it perfectly. We partnered with the Animal Rescue League and ran a raffle to collect some much needed items for the animals. Leslie from Juju was busy doing love tarot card readings and Pennsylvania Libations generously donated the wine! What a night!

We had such a fantastic turnout again, and were chuffed to see so many new faces. Thank you so much to those of you who braved the cold and the snow to come out and join us, we know that some of you drove over an hour to be there and that meant a lot to us! We look forward to seeing you at the next one!
