Hi! I have another guest post for you this week, and this time it's the super stylish Terra AKA @Spicymeatball, author of Love Nothing More! She's a Pittsburgh fashion blogger who I spotted while I was researching what was to be our new home. I'm a big fan of Terras style, it's sharp, edgy and fun, and she has an innate ability to style staple pieces in a unique way...as illustrated perfectly in her 3 Ways to Wear!
Hi all! It's such an honor to participate in Niki's Three Ways to Wear. I spent some time trying to think of something super unique that I could style three different ways. But lately my style keeps leading back to the basics. I want simple style to simplify my life. I want to be able to just walk into my closet and throw almost anything together and feel great.
One of my power pieces has been a silk white button up. It's professional, it's sexy. And it goes with just about anything. If you have been wondering what to invest in next to help anchor your wardrobe and you don't yet have a white button up, it's time to get one. I can easily say it is one of the hardest working pieces in my closet.
Don't be fooled by a white blouse. It isn't the goody two-shoes you might think it is. I love adding faux leather leggings and a faux leather jacket to sharpen the edges a little.
Now that it's snowing (!!!), I need to layer up with my dresses. This blouse is perfect to add a little extra interest to an otherwise pretty simple black dress. And the OTK boots keep me covered up and warm. Bonus points for looking a little Wednesday Addams.
Bell bottoms are making me happy right now. I generally love them with just a simple t-shirt but they can easily be polished up with a blouse and blazer.
DETAILS:
There you have it! The love of my sartorial life right now three different ways. It's a basic that's anything but.
Thanks for reading!
